Contract C++ Developer - Fintech/Multithreaded C++ Fully Remote Were currently looking for an experienced C++ Contractor to join a fast-paced engineering team on an initial 6-month remote contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance, real-time software systems using modern C++ technologies within an agile environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable applications, and contributing from day one. The RoleYoull be responsible for: Designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance C++ applications Working on real-time, multithreaded software systems Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams Participating in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, testing, and code reviews Troubleshooting complex technical and performance-related issues Supporting application performance tuning and infrastructure optimisation Skills & Experience Required5+ years commercial experience developing multithreaded C++ software systems on Linux Strong experience building real-time C++ applications Experience working within fast-paced Agile development teams Strong knowledge of modern C++ standards, particularly C++17 Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) Experience with profiling, memory leak detection, and code analysis tools Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Contract DetailsInitial 6-month contract Fully remote Competitive daily rate Immediate start available If youre an experienced C++ contractor looking for your next project, get in touch to find out more.
